1934 Masters Program
Presented here is quite possibly the most sought after golf program in existence - a 1930 British Amateur Program from Bobby Jones' victory at St Andrews en route to the Grand Slam.
As most collectors know, the most sought after items from Bobby Jones' Grand Slam in 1930 are the actual Programs from those tournaments. A small number of each still exist, but programs from the 1930 Open Championship at Hoylake and 1930 Amateur at St Andrews survive in numbers that are a fraction of their counterparts from the American tournaments. Offered here is what is believed to be the rarest of the Bobby Jones Grand Slam programs - an actual program from the 1930 British Amateur, which was held at famed St Andrews.
One would be hard-pressed to call any piece of memorabilia that is 88 years old "flawless", but describing the condition of this program in any other way simply does not do it justice. This program was issued for Friday of the 1930 British Amateur (the tournament concluded on Saturday) and has updates, including Bobby Jones, of course, of the tournament through the 6th round.
