Offered here is a high grade long nose putter by Peter Paxton (1857-1929). This is in excellent condition with an easily-readable P. PAXTON head stamp, and deep file marks across its seemingly-unused face. Paxton was born in Musselburgh, served as an apprentice under Tom Hood in Musselburgh, and then went to work in England where he made his own clubs. The club is in excellent condition. A prime example of Paxton's work.
