"Little is known about [this club] other than it looks more like a gardening tool than a golf club!" (The Clubmaker's Art, by Jeff Ellis, p. 193). In addition to its extreme anti-shank neck, the head shape itself is unique. The Clubmaker's Art goes on to describe this club as "visually captivating."
This is the exact club that was in Jeff Ellis' collection and is pictured (and described) in the book. Accompanying this piece is a signed page 193 of The Clubmaker's Art, which Ellis used as a Letter of Provenance for pieces of his collection that were featured in the book. The club is 37" and is in very good, original condition.
