A rare circa 1875 hand colored lithograph titled "The First Tee at Westward Ho!"

 

Produced by McClure and McDonald Chromo Lithographers in London, and taken from the painting by F.P. Hopkins (Major Shortspoon, 1830-1913). This hand colored litho features leading golfers, golf presidents and past presidents, golf captains and past captains and other notable players together with The Iron House Pebble Ridge Rock’s Nose and Hartland point in the background.
