Letter from the office of General Dwight D. Eisenhower to Augusta National Golf Club and ANGC founding member Jerome Franklin. The letter is typed on Eisenhower's 5 Star General letterhead. In the letter, Eisenhower discusses the newly created fish pond that we know today as Ike's Pond. He states that "there are going to be so many things I like to do at Augusta that I shall either have to stay away or suffer a complete breakdown." He also offers a phenomenal quote about ANGC Chairman Clifford Roberts: "All this does not take into consideration the chance to give old Cliff a walloping at bridge."
