This is an original 1953 letter from President Dwight Eisenhower to Augusta National founding member Jerome Franklin. In this letter, the President of the United States tells Franklin that he received a letter from his longtime Augusta National caddie Cemetery regarding his poor financial situation. Eisenhower asks that Franklin assist in giving a loan of $25 to Cemetery, and to have the club add it to his bill. Signed at the conclusion of the letter, "D.E."
